A quiet summer morning in Philadelphia - Howard Nelson

Had the opportunity to go for a long (defined as long by me!) bike ride in Center City Philadelphia at 8am last Sunday. I forgot how empty and quiet the city can be so early on a Sunday in the Summer. We started our ride toward Schuykill River Park and it goes without saying we made a pit stop at the dog park there.

What a wonderful newly renovated dog park. I highly recommend it. It was lab morning at the park and fetch was the name of the game. Watching the dogs play and have such a good time made me happy and my day was off to a great start.

We rode through Penn's beautiful campus and back into Center City. Was struck by how much new construction was underway all over Center City Philadelphia.

A great bike ride and start to a wonderful summer Sunday in Philadelphia.
